Our design team consists of two landscape designers - Jen Wahl and Ashley Gowland as well as owner and project manager Craig Rose. Together these three offer creative and functional solutions for your landscape project.

Our Muskoka landscape designs incorporate granite steps, flagstone, natural boulders and largely native plant material to achieve a finished landscape that blends with its natural surroundings. It is important to us that while ensuring our clients wishes are met we still maintain and respect the natural beauty of Muskoka.

In our over 20 years of experience in Muskoka we have worked many times with designs provided to us by landscape architects. We are extremely comfortable working with the handful of architects who have recommended us for projects through the years and thoroughly enjoy bringing these designs to life.

Pre-Landscape Construction we always:

• Work with professional arborists to deal with any tree removals, dead-wooding or limbing that needs to take place so that the natural landscape is as undisturbed as possible during our construction phase. • We coordinate with other trades onsite to ensure that space is easily shared and the project is moving forward as efficiently as possible.
• Drainage is an extremely important consideration on any property we work on - we first access and locate the natural drainage patterns on site and ensure that our machinery and equipment doesn't disturb these - and in areas where drainage is an issue we come up with methods to redirect water and protect the home or cottage from gathering water.

Presently we have seven construction or "hardscape" crews. These teams are responsible for installing granite steps, flagstone and natural boulders - they create firepits, walkways and landings and provide slope stabilization. Following the hardscape phase, one of our four "softscape" crews moves in to install plant material and mulch and add all the finishing touches that are so important to all of our landscapes.
